Just a quick hello!
I’m returning from vacation later today and wanted to a few words from the heart! I apologize for the poor grammar and unpolished nature of this email that I’m writing on my phone while waiting for my flight back to Denver.
I had to add that disclaimer because my sister will definitely be pointing out any mistakes I make. Hi Steph!
Every October for the past 4 years my childhood besties and I have taken a vacation to Florida and as this one is wrapping up I’m feeling all sorts of feels.
I’ve been friends with these gals for roughly 26 years. It’s crazy how time flies and crazy how much we’ve grown up, but are still so much the same and still have so much love for each other.
We’ve been there for each other through the best moments - weddings and births, graduations and new jobs. We’ve been there through the absolute worst times too, through death, divorces and illness.
Through it all, I can’t imagine doing life without them!
Which reminds me of why I have this business. Because I love making art that helps people connect to the ones they love through life’s hard times and life’s best times.
When I started this card business in the summer of 2020 I didn’t know what I was doing. Like at all. Zero percent. but I knew I wanted to use my art to help people. I wanted to make some cards for people to send to their loved ones to just say “hi! I miss you!”.
What a crazy time of isolation and loneliness 2020 was and although it was horrendous is many, many ways, it reminded us all how important connection and relationships are for our well being and anything we can do to help nourish these relationships is worth doing.
Thanks to each and every one of you who help my business thrive and help spread love through the world through a simple greeting card. I appreciate you so much!
Hugs!
Anna Fox
