In the spirit of the Spotify wrapped end-of-year music data that they provide to each of their subscribers, I decided to make my own version. See the below image for some fun facts and highlights.
I have so much planned for 2025, but here are some things I added in 2024:
• Blog posts! I want to connect more with my audience and I felt like adding some blog posts about my life would help facilitate this!
I have never fancied myself as a writer (more of a drawer) so it was an imposter syndrome hurdle that I had to jump over.
I am really glad I started these because I already feel a deeper connection and it always feels good to get past the fear of starting something new.
• I jazzed up my Pinterest page and became a certified vendor so that my pins are now shopable. I also started adding fun gift lists as a thing to post on Pinterest to help drive traffic to my shops.
• Revitalized my Instagram and email marketing! I felt the need to have a better social media presence, but it always seemed way to challenging and confusing!
Earlier this year I took a leap and decided to work with a WONDERFUL social media strategist, creative marketing director and mentor, Desi Murphy.
Check out her instagram here. She has made marketing feel much more approachable, authentic and simple than I ever imagined!
On a more personal level....
• I learned to REST. This year brought some emotional challenges and lots of grief for me to process. I had to learn to pause things that just weren't as important as self care and being there for friends during tough times.
After all, the heart of this business is connecting and spreading love! I gave myself the grace to pause when needed and I feel so much better for it.
• I also learned that I have ADHD. This diagnosis has been an interesting development in pretty much all areas of my life! To finally have a reason for the ways in which my brain works differently than others has helped me to be more gentle on myself.
Things that I previously felt were character flaws like my forgetfulness or severely fluctuating levels of motivation now feel more manageable. I understand myself better and can work in ways that are better for my type of neurodivergent brain!
2025 will be my year of unfaltering authenticity, bravery in many forms, and building connection through my life and through this small business.
